(1) After the commencement of this Act, the state through each local level shall make arrangements to provide compulsory education up to the basic level to every child between the ages of four and thirteen.
(2) In addition to the education mentioned in sub-section (1), at least one year of early childhood development and education should be provided after the completion of four years of age.
(3) The local level should make arrangements to provide education up to the basic level in a safe manner to the children affected by natural disasters, accidents, emergencies and other reasons.
