(1) The Government of Nepal shall appoint one of the persons recommended by the committee as per Section 23 as the Vice-Chairman of the Commission.
(2) The Vice-Chairman shall be the full-time Chief Executive of the Commission.
(3) The term of office of the Vice-President shall be four years at most.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (3), if the Vice-Chairman decides to remove him from office on the grounds that he is not behaving in accordance with his position, has not fulfilled his responsibilities or is unable to perform his duties due to physical or mental illness, the Vice-Chairman shall be removed from his position by the majority of the immediate remaining members of the Commission. will be freed automatically. But he shall not be deprived of the opportunity to submit his explanation before deciding to relieve him from office.
(5) The Vice President will get monthly salary and other benefits as prescribed by the Government of Nepal.
