(1) Students who study for free or on a scholarship must make a confession to work for one year in remote areas and one year in Sugam assigned by the Government of Nepal after their studies.
(2) If a student does not work according to the confession, he will be fined double the amount paid by the student who has paid full fees to the relevant educational institution and will be charged as government debt.
(3) For the purpose of sub-section (1), a student who has studied for free or on a scholarship shall contact the Ministry of Education of the Government of Nepal within one month of completing his studies, and that Ministry shall appoint such student to work somewhere within three months. It should be sent in writing to the government ministry.
