: (1) After ten years from the date of commencement of this Act, the medical education institutions operating within the state of Nepal shall remain as non-profit and service organizations respectively.
(2) In relation to non-profit educational institutions as per sub-section (1), if the relevant educational institution wants to transfer the property to the government, the government can assume the ownership by giving reasonable compensation.
(3) The necessary procedure and form as per sub-sections (1) and (2) shall be as prescribed.
