Section 35
Must work in a designated place
: (1) According to this Act, a student who has studied under reservation or scholarship must work for at least three years in a backward area designated by the institution.
(2) A student studying under a scholarship of an agency or organization has to work in a place for a certain period of time in order to receive such a scholarship.
(3) According to section 33, the students who have been admitted on priority basis of the institution must work in backward areas for the period specified by the institution.
(4) A student studying on a reservation as per sub-section (1) of section 32 and a scholarship as per section 34 will be given a permanent certificate of academic qualification to such student only after working the full period mentioned in sub-section (1), (2) or (3).
(5) The institution may make necessary arrangements to encourage other students studying in the institution to work in health institutions in backward areas after their studies, except for students who study under reservation, priority or scholarship as per section 32, 33 and 34.
