Section 28A
Priority order of viewing the issue

(1) The court shall do the following in order of priority while proceeding, hearing and disposing of the case:-
(a)   A case in which a person in custody is a party in connection with an investigation,
(b)   a case in which a person in custody is a party,
(c)   Case of party in custody,
(d)   Cases in which persons with disabilities and children are parties,
(e)   Cases involving persons with physical infirmity or above seventy-five years of age as parties,
(f)   Issues related to violence against women,
(g)   Issues related to caste discrimination and untouchability,
(h)   Matters relating to marriage or consanguinity,
(j)   Case relating to mana rice,
(j)   Divorce case,
(k)   Cases registered earlier in order of registration of cases.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if there is more than one case of the same nature in the same order, the first registered case shall be processed, heard and set aside.
(3) If there are other persons other than the persons mentioned in Clause (a), (b) or (c) of sub-section (1) in a case, the proceedings and hearing of such a case shall also be conducted, heard and disposed of in the case of such persons. .
(4) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-sections (1) and (2), the court may proceed, hear and dispose of a case by giving priority to a case, considering the seriousness and merits of the case.”
