Section 29
Investigation and scope of the case
: (1) The investigation of the case related to sub-section (4) of section 24 shall be done by the designated officer.
(2) After completion of the investigation, the investigation officer as per sub-section (1) shall send the matter to the relevant public prosecutor for a decision on whether or not to proceed with the case, and if the decision is made by the public prosecutor to proceed with the case, the investigation officer shall file the case.
