(1) In order to implement the financial proposals of the Government of Nepal for the financial year 2075/76, the Government of Nepal has added Rs. 1,72,00,00,00,000.- (literally one billion seventy-two billion) will be able to collect national debt of that amount. However, the amount of national debt raised in this way will not include the surplus amount that the government of Nepal can take according to the prevailing law.
(2) The government of Nepal may give approval to convert the outstanding surplus to be paid to the Nepal Rastra Bank up to the financial year 2075/76 into treasury bills.
(3) The period of payment of principal and interest of the national debt raised in accordance with this section and the rate of interest of that debt shall be in accordance with the National Debt Act, 2059.
