Section 7
Formation of Assembly
: (1) There will be an assembly as the supreme body of the institution.
(2) The composition of the Assembly shall be as follows:-
(a) Vice-Chancellor - President (b) Vice-Chancellor -Vice-Chancellor (c) Member, National Planning Commission (Looking at Health Sector) - Member (d) Vice-Chancellor -Member (e) Two persons nominated by the Assembly on the recommendation of the Executive Council from among the Vice-Chancellors of Universities and other institutions providing higher education related to health sciences - members (f) Secretary, Ministry ofbsp -Member
(g) Secretary, Government of Nepal Ministry of Finance - Member (h) Secretary, Ministry of Education of the Government of Nepal - Member (i) Head of Education - Member (j) One member nominated by the Assembly from among the Deans (k) Director -Member (l) Head, Dang District Coordination Committee -Member (d) Chief, Ghorahi Sub-Membership (l) Two members including at least one woman nominated by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Academic Council from amongst the teachers. (n) Executive Council among the Heads of Educational InstitutionsOne person nominated by the Assembly on the recommendation of -Member (p) Chairman, Nepal Health Research Council -Member (th) President, Nepal Medical Council -Member (D) four members including at least two women nominated by the Assembly on the recommendation of the Executive Council to be represented from Dalits, tribals/tribals and backward classes. (d) two members, including at least one woman, nominated by the Assembly on the recommendation of the Executive Council from amongst the donors; (n) One person nominated by the Assembly from among the employees working in the establishment - member. (p) The Registrarnbsp; -Member Secretary
(3) The term of office of the nominated members according to sub-section (2) shall be three years.
(4) If the position of a nominated member becomes vacant for any reason, another person will be nominated for the remaining period according to the same procedure as previously filled in that position.
(5) The procedure for the meeting of the Assembly shall be as prescribed.
