(1) The jurisdiction of the District Court shall be exercised by the bench of the District Judge.
(2) The jurisdiction of the High Court shall be exercised by a bench of one judge or a joint bench of judges in accordance with this Act or the rules made under this Act.
(3) According to sub-section (2), if there is no unanimity of opinion between the judges while deciding the case to be considered by the joint bench, such case shall be submitted to the third judge for decision along with the opinion of both the judges. If the majority cannot be maintained even when presented before the third judge, the parties on the date shall be sent to the Supreme Court for the decision of the missile with the opinion of all the judges on the date.
(4) In accordance with the prevailing law, proceedings other than judgment or final order in a case to be considered by a bench of two or more judges shall not be null and void, even if the proceedings are done by a bench of one judge.
