Rule 30
Exercising Jurisdiction Collectively

(1) The jurisdiction of the Military Special Court shall be exercised by the three members collectively and the opinion of the majority shall be considered as the decision of the court.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), the case can be processed and disposed of if the chairman and one other member are present. Apart from the chairman, in the presence of two other members, other actions can be taken except to decide the case or give a final order.
(3) According to sub-rule (2) in the presence of two members, if there is no unanimity between the two members in the proceedings or settlement of the case, in the case of proceedings, according to the opinion of the chairman, and in the case of judgment and final order, the opinion supported by the previously absent member shall be considered as the decision of the Military Special Court. > (4) According to sub-rule (3), if the majority cannot be maintained even when submitted to the absent member, it shall be submitted to the Supreme Court for decision.
