(1) Regardless of what is written elsewhere in this Act, an officer may delegate authority in accordance with the prevailing law so that the work he is required to perform in accordance with this Act or the prevailing law can be performed by any other official under him or his subordinates. It is not considered to be exempted from responsibility.
(2) The authority delegated in accordance with sub-section (1) can be withdrawn at any time.
(3) In spite of anything written in sub-section (1), the power to decide in judicial proceedings cannot be delegated.
