(1) If a patient admitted to a hospital for the treatment of cancer gives permission to have his body examined for study and research related to such disease after his death, before cremating the body of such deceased, the hospital shall

(2) If any patient who was admitted to the hospital dies before giving permission for the purpose of study or research as per sub-section (1), the body of such deceased shall be examined by the hospital for any study or research related to cancer. It shall not be considered as an obstacle.

(3) According to sub-section (1) other procedures and conditions related to giving permission for autopsy shall be as prescribed.
