(1) If requested by a similar body of a country or if the department itself deems it necessary, on the basis of reciprocity, the department may share information related to the investigation of money laundering and financial investment offenses in terrorist activities. (3) The department may jointly investigate or cause offenses related to money laundering and financial investment in terrorist activities in cooperation with the agency concerned. According to the need, mutual understanding can be maintained. (4) In accordance with sub-section (1) the provisions related to non-violation of confidentiality as per section 26 shall be equally applicable to the information received from the agency of any country working of a similar nature. The arrangement will be as prescribed.
