(1) According to the Act and this regulation, if the government of Nepal needs to recognize any indigenous or foreign research institute or laboratory for the purpose of conducting tests or analysis by a drug analyst, it may grant such recognition after consulting the Drug Advisory Council.
(2) If it is necessary to cancel the recognition of any research institute or laboratory given according to sub-rule (1), the Government of Nepal may cancel such recognition in consultation with the Medicines Consultative Council.
