(1) In accordance with sub-rule (2) of Rule 31, the land reform officer shall collect the current year's loan amount and interest as per the Act from the actual debt determined by the land reform officer in relation to each Assamese farmer immediately after harvesting the main crops from the Assamese farmer. In the case of old loans prior to the current year, the balance and interest as per the law should be collected from the Assamese farmer in one lump sum or up to 5 annual installments. The installment amount should be paid immediately after harvesting the main crops of each year. The committee should give the receipt of the form specified in Schedule-15 of the debt recovered by the committee to the concerned farmer. However, after the actual amount of the agricultural loan is determined according to sub-rule (2) of rule 31, the committee will settle the account according to the same, even though the said amount is not fixed, the committee will make sub-rule (3) of rule 31 ) based on the amount taken as per ), the current year's loan amount and interest can be collected from the Assamese farmer immediately after harvesting the main crops and the receipt should be given to the concerned farmer in the format specified in Schedule-15. (2) Collected according to sub-rule (1) Written notice of the amount should be given to the related creditor in the format specified in schedule-19 and the account book should be maintained and if the amount is embezzled, all the members of the committee will be collectively and individually accountable.
