Rule 68
Temporary protection services
(1) Need for immediate rescue and protection: To arrange a safe residence for the missing children: The Government of Nepal, the provincial government and the local level will arrange temporary protection services in mutual coordination.
(2) The council may make arrangements to provide temporary protection services to organizations that provide temporary protection services that have received permission from the council to provide safe accommodation for children who are deemed to be in need of immediate rescue and protection.
(3) In addition to safe accommodation within the temporary protection service, the following services may be available as per the requirement:-
(a) Child Counseling and Legal Counseling Services,
(b. Child Protection, Protection and Cash or In-kind Relief Services,
(c) Health/Treatment Services,
(d) Drug addiction treatment and rehabilitation services,
(e) Family search,
(f) 8 Family Counseling Services,
(g)4 Socialization Services,
(h). . Employable technical and vocational skills and capacity building training,
(i) Family economic development support (for increasing income and small business operations),
(n) Family reunification and rehabilitation services, (c) regular monitoring, facilitation and support of children who have received services.
(4) Children found within their area: Regardless of the location, the concerned local level should provide temporary protection.
(5) If there is a need to protect the child victims in the temporary protection service, the relevant police office shall provide protection in coordination with the organization providing the temporary protection service.
(6) The Council and Provincial Child Rights Committee may conduct necessary programs to enhance the capacity of organizations providing temporary protection services.
