In the course of the health treatment of a patient admitted to the hospital for the treatment of cancer, if the doctor or health worker of the hospital uses the specified amount of radioactive substances and other medicines in accordance with the prescribed procedure, the patient suffers any kind of adverse physical effect. Therefore, such a patient is not entitled to claim financial or any other kind of compensation against the hospital and the hospital's doctors or health workers. However, this section shall not be deemed to be a hindrance to claim compensation against such doctor or health worker in the case where the patient suffers any kind of adverse physical effect due to the use of radiation substances and other medicines in a manner different from the prescribed procedure and prescribed amount due to the negligence or malpractice of the doctor or health worker of the hospital.< /p>
