In addition to the functions, duties and powers written elsewhere in this Act, the functions, duties and powers of hospitals shall be as follows:-

(a) For the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. To provide high quality health services.

(B) To conduct the National Cancer Control Program for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

(C) For the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Necessary

(d) Conducting studies and research related to cancer disease.

(e) Maintaining contact and coordination with local and foreign governmental and non-governmental organizations for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Prepare national policies, plans and programs in this regard and submit them to the Government of Nepal.

(f) Provide financial and technical support to agencies involved in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

(g) In the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer disease, to adopt the prescribed protective measures and techniques in the storage, use and disposal of radioactive materials when adopting radiation therapy.

(h) In the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer disease Awarding scholarship medals and prizes.

(i) Expanding services through network hospitals and affiliated organizations by developing a cancer registration system.

(j) Fees for health services provided by hospitals. (k) To manage the hospital. and arranging the necessary means and facilities for expansion.

(l) Submitting the annual report of the hospital to the Government of Nepal through the committee.

(n) Regarding the policy decisions regarding the hospital and its implementation. Periodically informing the Government of Nepal.
