The work, duties and powers of the commission shall be as follows:-
(a) Determining the service fee to be charged by the service provider to the consumer,
(b) Approving the policy and procedure to be adopted by the service provider when submitting an application to the Commission for tariff determination,
(c) Monitoring the service provided by the service provider and maintaining the quality of the service (D) To resolve disputes between service providers and consumers as prescribed (e) Obtaining and publishing details related to the services provided by the service provider,
(f) Determining and implementing standards related to tariff determination,
(g) Providing necessary advice and suggestions to the Government of Nepal regarding drinking water or sanitation services, and
(h) To do other tasks as specified.
