(1) There shall be a Secretary to act as the Administrative Head of the Commission.
(2) The Secretary shall, under the general direction of the Chief Election Commissioner, exercise the following duties, duties and powers in addition to the duties, duties and powers prescribed in this Act and other prevailing laws:-
(a) To carry out work related to the administration and management of the Commission (b) To prepare the annual budget, program and plan of the commission and submit it to the commission (c) To maintain, take care of the movable and immovable property of the Commission (D) To make necessary arrangements for the smooth operation of the Commission's work (e) To implement the policies, programs and decisions of the commission (f) To do other work as prescribed by the commission.
