1) After the completion of all the work related to the land development program conducted by the authority, the authority can transfer such project to the local body or consumer committee registered according to the prevailing law.
(2) In the case of a consumer committee that wants to transfer and take over a project according to sub-rule (1), at least sixty percent of the landowners or tenants who will directly benefit from such project must be members of such consumer committee.
(3) When transferring the project according to sub-rule (1), the authority shall enter into an agreement with the relevant local body or consumer committee.
(4) According to this rule, the local body or the consumer committee that takes over the project shall supervise and manage the project in accordance with the conditions mentioned in the contract.
(5) If the local body or consumer committee does not manage and manage the project in accordance with the agreement, the authority can take over such project at any time.
