(1) Political parties, candidates or election representatives shall not receive any kind of financial support from government or public bodies or non-governmental organizations in violation of the prevailing federal law in election campaigning.
(2) The commission may impose a fine of up to one lakh rupees on the political party, candidate or person who receives financial support contrary to sub-section (1) and the related person of the non-governmental organization providing such financial support.
(3) Departmental action will be taken against the relevant official of the government or public body who provides financial support contrary to sub-section (1).
(4) If someone takes financial assistance from the body under sub-section (1), the Commission shall order to deposit such amount with the Commission within a specified time and from the political party, candidate or person who does not file such amount with the Commission, the Commission shall collect such amount as government debt and such political party, candidate or The person will be fined the same amount.
