(1) The Government of Nepal may determine the necessary standards for regulating or controlling the production, distribution or trade of essential substances.

(2) Provinces When the government regulates or controls the production, distribution or trade of essential substances in accordance with section 3, it shall be subject to the standards determined in accordance with sub-section (1).

(4) Section 7A. After the words "Government of Nepal shall be the plaintiff", the words "and the case shall be deemed to be included in Schedule-1 of the Civil Criminal Procedure (Code) Act, 2074" have been added.

(5) Section 8 In place of the words “by the Government of Nepal”, the words “the Government of Nepal or the State Government” shall be substituted. The words are kept.
