(1) A person who wants to produce, store, use, sell, transport or import explosives shall obtain a license in accordance with this Act. The form of each such license, the fees applicable thereto and the period thereof shall be as prescribed. A person who wishes to obtain or extend the term of such a license must submit an application form in the prescribed format with the prescribed details to the Chief District Officer. Any person who wishes to amend his/her license should submit an application to the District Chief District Officer explaining the matter and the reason for the amendment. The fee required for such amendment will be as prescribed.
