(1) When issuing a firearms license, except for air guns, an individual will be given a license to keep firearms up to a maximum of 3 guns, a family of Sangol up to a maximum of 6 guns, and a person with diplomatic privileges will be given a license to keep a firearm up to a maximum of 6 guns. If a person keeps a weapon, such a person will be allowed to keep such weapon and weapon only for the rest of his life.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), a person other than a person with diplomatic privileges shall be granted a license for only one firearm at a time and no license shall be granted for additional firearms without payment for 5 years from the date of such licence.
