Rule 8

If the license is cancelled, in the case of cancellation of the license according to the

Act and this regulation, the goods in the warehouse can be sold with the approval of the Excise Department. If the arrears of excise duty to be paid to the department are not paid, the department shall take the arrears of excise duty from the amount obtained by auctioning such goods and return the remaining amount to the concerned person.
