Rule 15
<br> about license (license).
If any firearm is lost or stolen or malfunctions or is destroyed due to any other reason, within thirty-five days the owner of such firearm shall be informed by the license holder of such firearm to the concerned Chief District Officer and the cost of such firearm shall be deducted. If a weapon is lost or stolen, it will be mandatory to report it to the nearest police station within seven days as soon as possible. However, if the damaged handgun is repaired and used again or if a lost or stolen handgun is found, the license must be obtained again in accordance with this regulation.
(2) If a person who has a license to sell, manufacture and sell or repair arms and ammunition wants to stop selling, manufacture and sell or repair, he should give such notice to the Chief District Officer and have the cost deducted.
(3) Arms and ammunition confiscated by the Government of Nepal or seized by the Government in any other manner shall be deducted automatically.
(4) In case of not being registered according to this regulation, the license (license) has not been taken or even if the license (license) has been registered and kept and the license (license) has not been renewed according to this regulation, the cost of arms and ammunition will be automatically deducted and such arms and ammunition must be handed over to the police immediately.
