(1) A person or organization wishing to establish a slaughterhouse or to work as a meat seller shall submit an application to the designated authority in the prescribed format.
(2) If an application is received in accordance with sub-section (1), the designated authority shall, after conducting the necessary investigation in relation to such application, take the necessary documents as prescribed and issue a license to the applicant to establish an animal slaughterhouse or to work as a meat seller in the prescribed format.
(3) The conditions to be followed by the meat seller shall be as prescribed.
