(1) A person who has permission to search for any mineral material in an area shall have the right to get permission to carry out mining work for the same mineral material in that area.
(2) If a person who has been granted a prospecting permit discovers minerals other than those mentioned in the permit, he shall inform the department within thirty days and he shall be given priority to mine such minerals. But such a person will not have the right to get permission to carry out the mining of mineral substances specified in accordance with sub-section (3) of section 12.
