(1) If a person wants to extract minerals whose quality and quantity have been confirmed, he should submit an application to the department in the format as per Schedule-7, along with the proposed mining plan for a permit.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), if the person who has obtained a permit for prospecting work in accordance with rule 7 also wants to obtain a permit for excavation work, before the end of the period of prospecting work, a detailed report of the prospecting work and a proposed plan of excavation work should be attached as a schedule - An application should be submitted to the department in the format specified in 7.
