(1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the chief officer working full-time in the institution.
(2) A committee consisting of two other members under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor will be formed by the Chancellor to recommend the appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor and the Chancellor will appoint the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of that committee.
(3) The term of office of the Vice-Chancellor shall be four years (4) In the absence of the Vice-Chancellor, the work to be done by the Vice-Chancellor shall be as prescribed by the Vice-Chancellor.
(5) The work, duties and powers of the Vice-Chancellor shall be as prescribed.
(6) The remuneration, facilities and other conditions of service of the Vice-Chancellor shall be as prescribed.
