(1) In accordance with sub-section (6) of section 4, the victim shall bear the expenses incurred in providing immediate treatment to the victim of domestic violence, and if for any reason the victim is unable to provide such expenses immediately, the relevant local level shall immediately bear such expenses. (2) If a person suffering from domestic violence is mentally or physically disabled and needs to be treated in a hospital, the victim shall bear all the expenses incurred during the treatment.

p> (3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if for any reason the victim is unable to provide such expenses immediately, the court may order that the victim receives such treatment amount from the concerned local level or the service center as per section 11 and the amount so provided is from the victim. It will have to be collected or caused to be recovered like government dues.
