Section 17
Medicines can be divided into groups
(1) Medicines can be divided into groups or sub-groups as prescribed.
(2) When dividing the group according to sub-section (1), no one shall sell-distribute the drugs grouped as not to be sold-distributed without a doctor's prescription. When selling and distributing such medicine according to the doctor's prescription, the pharmacist or pharmacy assistant or businessperson shall sell and distribute it himself and the presence of the pharmacist or pharmacy assistant or businessperson shall be mandatory when selling and distributing such medicine by someone other than the pharmacist or pharmacy assistant or businessperson.
(3) When dividing a group according to sub-section (2), a pharmacist or a pharmacy assistant or a businessperson or any of them may sell and distribute drugs grouped in such a way that they are to be sold and distributed only in their presence.
(4) Except for the drugs grouped according to sub-section (2) and (3), any seller can sell other drugs based on experience in reasonable quantities. Explanation: "Pharmacist" means a person who has obtained a bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a degree in pharmaceutics or has acquired drug-related experience and has been recognized by the Pharmaceutical Advisory Committee.
