(1) There shall be a Criminal Property Management Fund to manage assets or instruments seized or seized as per paragraph-2 and seized as per paragraph-3.
(2) The fund under sub-section (1) shall not contain the following assets:-
(a) Assets obtained from the offense or instruments related to the offense confiscated in accordance with the judgment or order of the court,
(b) the amount received by auctioning, leasing or managing in any other manner the assets or instruments referred to in clause (a),
(c) the amount in the bailment account which has been seized pursuant to the order of the court, and
(d) If it has been seized abroad, the amount received by the Government of Nepal from such amount.
(3) The amount of the fund will be kept in an account opened in Nepal Rastra Bank or any commercial bank.
(4) The account of the fund shall be operated by the joint signature of the director general and the accounting officer of the department.
