If the following acts are committed, it will be considered as an offense under this Act:-
(a) If any person falsely registers his name, surname, nationality, age or other particulars, or gives an application for registration or gives a false objection,
(b) If any person knowingly adds, tampers with, corrects, or in any way defaces, damages or destroys such voter's list,
(c) If any kind of fear, threat or inducement is given to the staff engaged in the work of preparing the voter list or if they are distracted from performing their duties by using force,
(d) In case of breach of confidentiality of documents or details which should be kept confidential,
(e) If the name, surname, nationality, photograph and other details of voters collected by the Commission for the purpose of registration of voter list are published or distributed or knowingly misused,
(f) if the electoral roll is used contrary to sub-section (2) of section 22.
