Kasur

(1) If any person commits any of the following acts, he shall be deemed to have committed an offense under this Act:-(a) knowingly mentions false information in the notice filed in the registration office, (b) obstructs the filing of the notice in accordance with this Act, and (c) any (2) If the registrar or his representative issues a false certificate or destroys or falsifies any record in the registration office, he shall be deemed to have committed an offense under this Act. 3) Any person who commits an offense under this Act shall be punished with a fine ranging from fifty thousand rupees to five lakh rupees or imprisonment for a term of six months or both, depending on the amount of the offence. He will be fined in proportion to the value of the mortgaged property and the aggrieved person will be entitled to receive reasonable compensation from the person who caused the loss through fraud or negligence.
