Rule 3
<br> to apply for legal aid
According to the Act and these regulations, Nepali citizens who want to get legal assistance should submit an application to the relevant committee in the format specified in Schedule-1.
(2) When submitting an application in accordance with sub-rule (1), in the case of a village development committee, the chairman or member or secretary of the village development committee and in the case of a municipality, the chairman of the relevant ward should also attach the recommendation made in the format as per schedule-2.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), if the person who wants to receive legal aid does not know how to fill the application form himself or is unable to fill the application form at the office of the committee, any other person he trusts can submit the application to the committee.
(4) If an application is brought through another person according to sub-rule (3), the staff of the committee should understand all the things that should be understood according to the application form and also attach the recommendation according to sub-rule (2) and register the application.
(5) If there is any document to prove the behavior mentioned in the application brought to register the application in the committee, such document should also be submitted by the applicant.
