: (1) The employer may not employ workers for more than eight hours per day and forty-eight hours in a week.
(2) Workers should be given half an hour rest after five consecutive hours of work.
(3) If the work should not be stopped and the work should be continued continuously, such rest periods should be given to the workers alternately.
(4) The rest time given as per sub-section (2) and (3) shall be counted as working time as per sub-section (1).
