: The Duties, Duties and Powers of the Executive Director shall be as follows:
(a) To assist the Central Child Welfare Committee in formulating a long-term national policy and plan related to the protection of the child's rights and interests and physical and mental development.
(b) Prepare the annual program and budget according to the policies and plans approved by the Government of Nepal and submit it to the meeting of the Central Child Welfare Committee.
(c) To implement the decisions and instructions of the Central Child Welfare Committee.
(d) To conduct an internal evaluation of the annual program of the Central Child Welfare Committee and submit progress reports to the meeting of the Central Child Welfare Committee.
(e) Searching for necessary resources for the operation of the Central Child Welfare Committee and mobilizing the resources obtained.
(f) To keep the accounts of the financial transactions of the Central Child Welfare Committee properly.
(G) To do other work delegated and directed by the Central Child Welfare Committee.
