The functions, duties and powers of the Executive Council shall be as follows:-
(a) To carry out the decisions and directions of the Assembly, to carry out,
(b) To prepare the University's annual programme, budget, progress report, audit report and other proposals and submit them to the Assembly for approval,
(c) To operate, maintain and protect the fund and movable and immovable property of the University (d) to sell, lease, lease and take the movable and immovable property of the University under the direction of the policy of the Assembly,
(e) Coordinating, supervising and inspecting the programs run by the University and submitting the report to the Assembly,
(f) To prepare draft rules relating to the University and submit them to the Assembly for approval,
(g) To appoint and promote teachers and staff necessary for the University on the recommendation of the Service Commission,
(h) Determination of student fees,
(j) To receive financial and other support provided for the University,
(j) To do other work as prescribed.
