(1) There shall be an Executive Council to act as the executive body of the University (2) The formation of the Executive Council shall be as follows:-
(a) Vice-Chancellor – Chairman (b) Two members from among the Deans (c) One member from among the campus heads who are members of the assembly (d) Two members including at least one woman from amongst the teachers (e) Registrar – Member Secretary
(3) Other than the ex-officio members as per sub-section (2), the nomination of other members will be done by the assembly on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor.
(4) The term of office of the nominated member as per sub-section (2) shall be three years.
(5) If the position of a nominated member becomes vacant for any reason, another person will be nominated for the remaining period after completing the procedure as per sub-section (3).
(6) The procedure related to the meeting of the Executive Council shall be as prescribed and the procedure related to the meeting may be determined by the Executive Council itself until such time.
