Section 11
Functions, duties and rights of the office
The functions, duties and rights of the office shall be as follows:-
(a) Identifying, surveying and implementing projects under the Public-Private Partnership concept, selecting developers and monitoring them,
(B) Facilitating the construction, operation, management and other activities of the public-private partnership concept and projects implemented with private investment. (c) Negotiating with the proposer or investor based on the terms and conditions approved by the board and the draft agreement attached to the call for proposals,
(d) To facilitate the investor to implement the project in accordance with the agreement,
(e) Solving the problems encountered in the implementation of the project,
(f) Coordinating with the private sector including public bodies, provinces, local levels for the implementation of approved projects (g) Arranging arrangements for financial or non-financial facilities to be obtained by the approved project,
(h) If the facility provided for any sector or project is found to be insufficient or investment is discouraged due to any other reason, to submit the improvement measures to the Board,
(i) To monitor the implementation of the project and if it is found that the project is not implemented according to the schedule, to recommend to the board to take necessary action or cancel the permit,
(j) If it is necessary to pay special attention to any special investment sector or sub-sector, to submit the same suggestion to the Board,
(k) Acting on protection of domestic and foreign investment and promotion of investment,
(l) Studying and researching public-private partnership and investment (d) To perform administrative and other functions that are within the jurisdiction of the Board and decided by the Board.
