(1) The publisher of the book shall submit two copies of such book free of cost to the local authority before selling and distributing the book published by him.
(2) The books obtained according to sub-section (1) shall be registered in the register book by the local authority and the following shall also be mentioned:-
(a) The name of the book and the title printed on the front page (if not in Nepali language, then translate it into Nepali language),
(b) Language in which the book is written,
(c) the name of the author, translator or editor of the book or part thereof,
(d) Subject of the book,
(e) Place of printing and publication,
(f) the name of the printer or printing establishment and the publisher or publishing establishment,
(g) Date of publication,
(h) Page number,
(i) Size,
(j) Version number,
(k) a printed copy of that edition,
(l) printed or litho,
(d) selling price, and
(d) Name, surname and nationality of the copyright holder.
