(1) Farmers shall have the right to own, select varieties, protect and distribute local seeds or varieties or varieties of agricultural crops that have been used and adopted since tradition in Nepal.
(2) In Nepal, any farmer group can register the local seed seed or the seed seed of the variety or agricultural species that has been collectively used and adopted in Nepal in the name of such farmer group in accordance with the prevailing law.
