(1) In accordance with this Act and the rules made under this Act, a Board of Directors shall be formed as follows for the operation, supervision and management of the Center by using all the functions, duties and rights granted to the Center:
(a) Minister of Health and Population or Minister of State

(b)…………………………..

(c) Member, National Planning Commission (overseeing the health sector ) – member
(d) Secretary, Ministry of Finance or a Gazetted First Class Officer of the Ministry of Finance designated by him – Member
(e) The Secretary, Ministry of Health and Population or a gazetted first class officer of the Ministry of Health and Population designated by him – Member
(f) Three persons nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the specialist doctors related to heart disease - members When nominating members according to this section, two persons will be nominated from among the specialist doctors working in the center.
(G) One member from among the distinguished women social workers.

(i) One person nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the heads of various medical science institutes - member
(j) One person nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the heads of reputed non-governmental organizations working at the national level in the field of heart disease prevention - member
(k) Executive Director – Member – Secretary
(2) The term of office of the members under clauses (f), (g), (h), (j) and (j) of sub-section (1) shall be four years and they may be re-nominated.
(3) If the committee deems it necessary, it may invite an expert as an observer to the meeting of the committee.
(4) The procedure for the meeting of the committee shall be as prescribed.
