(1) As a high-level center to provide the high-level health services necessary for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of heart patients in an accessible manner, to enable the heart patients to lead a humane life and to prepare the necessary skilled manpower for high-level studies and research related to heart disease. Shaheed Gangalal National Heart Center has been established.
(2) The center will be in Kathmandu district and branches and units of the center can be established in other districts as per need.
