– The purpose of the fund will be as follows:-
(a) To raise the economic and social level of poor people, families or communities through social mobilization, to ensure that they can access and use the necessary service facilities, and to enable them to use their rights and interests by enabling them to participate in the decision-making process of the local development fund. To cause,
(b) To identify economically and socially backward and below the poverty line individuals, families or communities and conduct economic, social and physical infrastructure programs to uplift their economic and social status and enhance their capacity,
(c) identifying the causes of poverty at the local level and supporting the economic and social level of poor individuals, families or groups by using local skills, resources and knowledge through social mobilization,
(d) Establishing coordination among supporting organizations, (e) Provide financial and technical support to mobilize resources related to poverty alleviation and to develop related institutions.
