(1) The amount collected in the fund shall be spent on the following activities: -

(a) Assisting in the treatment of persons of national fame who are seriously ill and unable to receive medication,
(b) Helping people who are in poor financial condition when they are taken to and from the hospital for medical treatment,
(c) To rescue the victims of natural calamities or accidents, to assist the relatives of the deceased for funeral or operational expenses,
(d) To assist the social associations established in accordance with the prevailing law for the purpose of economic and social upliftment to conduct any special program,
(e) Helping those with poor economic conditions. (2) According to sub-rule (1), the amount of assistance to be spent from the fund shall be as prescribed by the Prime Minister.
