(1) For the purpose of Clause (a) of Sub-section (2) of Section 29 of the Act, per month per person allowance to be received by the Nepali Army deployed in contingent (including board) in peace-keeping operations in any part of the world at the invitation of the United Nations. A maximum of 22 percent of the amount can be deducted from all ranks of soldiers.
(2) The committee may deduct the amount specified by the staff officers, inspectors and military advisers who are engaged in the work as per sub-rule (1) (not receiving board and lodging facilities).
(3) According to Clause (c) of Section 31 of the Act, the committee may reduce the amount to be deducted according to the above if the amount is sufficient to carry out welfare activities from the income of the fund.
(4) According to sub-rules (1) and (2), other arrangements related to deducting the amount shall be as mentioned in the procedures made by the committee.
